ARSENAL ENDS 22-YEAR WAIT: PREMIER LEAGUE GLORY IS OURS!
Arsenal have officially reclaimed the Premier League crown after a 22-year wait, as Manchester City’s hopes were dashed by Bournemouth on Tuesday. The Gunners’ long-awaited triumph comes after City, champions in six of the past eight seasons, failed to secure the win they needed to keep the title race alive.
Bournemouth’s Junior Kroupi struck in the 39th minute, putting City behind, and although Erling Haaland pulled one back in stoppage time, it was too little, too late. Arsenal can now look forward to a celebratory final match against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
This is Arsenal’s 14th English league title, placing them just behind Liverpool and Manchester United. It’s also their first league win since the unforgettable “Invincibles” season of 2003-04 under Arsene Wenger.
Mikel Arteta’s squad, runners-up for the last three seasons, are now set to make history on another stage: the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain on May 30, where they aim to become European champions for the first time, potentially capping the club’s greatest season ever.
Arsenal fans, the wait is over — glory is back at the Emirates!
