CSN Chaplaincy Marks Children’s Day with Holy Mass
Reverend Father Dominic Umoh celebrated a special Holy Mass at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Abuja, in honor of Children’s Day.
In his sermon, Father Umoh reflected on the Holy Trinity, highlighting it as the perfect example of unity. He encouraged the faithful to follow God’s example by loving one another and living in harmony.
He reminded the congregation of God’s constant presence and asked, “Are we truly representing Him? Are we receiving Him?” Father Umoh emphasized that God sends the Holy Spirit as a helper in all our endeavors and urged everyone, especially the children of St. Gabriel Chaplaincy, not to fear any challenges because the Blessed Trinity is always with us.
He further explained that calling on the Blessed Trinity is calling on God Himself, and celebrating His presence brings lasting joy. Father Umoh concluded by encouraging the faithful to remain focused on God’s love, rather than the distractions of the world, and to live in the spirit of unity and compassion.
