CBCN President Makes Surprise Visit to Catholic Secretariat in Abuja.
The President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), Most Rev. Matthew Man-Oso Ndagoso, on Tuesday made a paternal surprise visit to the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN) in Abuja, in a move that brought joy and renewed morale among members of staff.
The visit began at the Office of the Secretary General, where the CBCN President was warmly received and briefed on key issues relating to the mission of the Church, its pastoral priorities, and the administrative activities of the Secretariat.
During the briefing, discussions centred on the ongoing work of the Church in Nigeria, with emphasis on strengthening pastoral outreach and ensuring the effective coordination of ecclesiastical responsibilities across the country.
Following the meeting, Archbishop Ndagoso proceeded on a tour of the various offices within the Catholic Secretariat, including the agencies of the CBCN housed within the complex.
He took time to interact warmly with members of staff, commending them for their dedication and encouraging them to remain steadfast in their service to the Church and the nation.
The surprise visit was met with excitement and gratitude by staff members, who described it as a morale-boosting gesture that reinforced their sense of purpose and commitment.
The visit is seen as a strong expression of the leadership’s pastoral concern and continued support for the work being carried out at the Secretariat in service of the Catholic Church in Nigeria.
