PMAN FCT appoints Julius Anthony as Kuje Area Council Coordinator
The Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN), FCT Chapter, has appointed Comrade Julius Anthony as the Area Coordinator of its Kuje Area Council, as part of efforts to strengthen the structure, unity, and growth of musicians within the Federal Capital Territory.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was conveyed in an official letter issued by the PMAN FCT Chapter State Executive Committee (S.E.C) and dated August 12, 2026.
The letter, signed by the Governor of PMAN FCT Chapter, Mr. Michael Oyibo Kaycee, and the Chapter Secretary, Vincent Omoko, stated that Anthony’s selection was based on his commitment to the advancement of music and his positive contributions to the creative community in the FCT.
The association said the new coordinator’s role is aimed at creating stronger coordination among musicians in Kuje Area Council, improving members’ participation in PMAN activities, and ensuring that practicing musicians are properly integrated into the association’s structure.
As part of his responsibilities, Anthony is expected to oversee and harmonize the activities of registered and practicing musicians within Kuje, identify and mobilize musicians who are yet to become members, and ensure proper registration of eligible practitioners as bonafide members of PMAN.

He will also serve as the link between PMAN FCT Chapter leadership and musicians in Kuje Area Council by promoting unity, addressing members’ concerns, communicating official directives, and supporting initiatives designed to improve the welfare of musicians.
The new Area Coordinator is further expected to represent PMAN FCT at music-related events, meetings, and engagements within Kuje Area Council, while providing regular updates and reports to the Chapter Secretariat on activities, membership growth, and developments in the area.
The association charged Anthony to uphold the PMAN Constitution, guidelines, and policies of the FCT Chapter, while working closely with the executive committee to achieve the organization’s objectives.
PMAN FCT Chapter expressed confidence that Anthony’s leadership, dedication, and experience would contribute significantly to bringing more structure, visibility, and opportunities to musicians in Kuje Area Council.

The appointment is part of the chapter’s broader commitment to strengthening grassroots representation, expanding membership, and promoting the interests of musicians across the Federal Capital Territory.
