The Julius Berger Group has made a strong showing at the Big 5 Construct Nigeria Expo in Lagos, showcasing its broad range of construction, engineering, manufacturing and facility management capabilities alongside major industry players from Nigeria and other parts of the world.

The expo, which commenced in Lagos on Tuesday, has attracted manufacturers, developers, contractors, consultants, suppliers and technology providers from Kuwait, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and other regions.

A major attraction at the event is the Julius Berger Group pavilion, where the company’s subsidiaries are demonstrating how the Group has expanded beyond traditional construction into integrated engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing and support services.

Among the subsidiaries exhibiting at the event is ABUMET Nigeria Limited, the Group’s specialist aluminium and glass solutions company.

ABUMET is showcasing a range of products, including its latest Glass Bridge and Balustrade Star, a unique ABUMET Grid2Shell product, as well as aluminium windows, curtain walls, façade systems and bespoke architectural solutions for commercial, residential and industrial projects.

The company’s experts are also engaging visitors on its fabrication processes, innovative building solutions and sustainable construction technologies.

PrimeTech Design and Engineering Nigeria Limited is another major exhibitor at the Julius Berger pavilion.

The company is showcasing its capabilities in architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, infrastructure planning and design.

Its exhibition highlights modern engineering concepts, sustainable development solutions and master-planning capabilities applied across sectors including infrastructure and oil and gas.

Also participating is Julius Berger Precast Services, which is displaying a range of engineered concrete products, including paving stones, blocks, pipes, drains and other precast solutions.

The company is using the exhibition to demonstrate how quality precast products can improve construction efficiency, shorten project delivery timelines and enhance the durability of completed projects.

Visitors to the Julius Berger pavilion are also being introduced to the services of the Julius Berger Excellence Centre and the Group’s facility management operations.

Specialists are engaging stakeholders on property maintenance, facility management and technical support solutions aimed at improving asset performance and extending the lifespan of facilities.

The international participation at the Big 5 Construct Nigeria Expo has further broadened the scope of the event, with companies from Europe, Kuwait, Asia, Africa and other regions displaying construction equipment, smart building technologies, sustainable materials and digital innovations.

Representatives of the participating Julius Berger subsidiaries described the expo as an important platform for networking, knowledge exchange and identifying new business opportunities.

They said the event was also providing an opportunity to reconnect with existing partners while exposing prospective clients and industry stakeholders to the range of expertise available across the Julius Berger Group.

The Group’s participation underscores its focus on innovation, collaboration and expanding its business opportunities within Nigeria, Africa and the wider global construction industry.
